Hi! My name is Taylor. I attended Utah State University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. I also graduated with a Master of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering Emphasis.
During my time at Utah State University, I worked at the College of Engineering Tutoring Center for three years. I was able to tutor students for all types of courses, from basic engineering to graduate-level structural engineering classes. During my time at the tutoring center, I found that I love tutoring and helping students gain an understanding of engineering topics.
I have a knack for breaking down complex engineering problems into basic, simple, and easy-to-understand concepts. My tutoring philosophy is to help others understand topics conceptually, rather than just memorizing the procedure for how to get something done. I believe that it is much easier to solve a problem if you understand why you are doing something, rather than trying to solve a problem from memorization. My goal is to provide learning resources and tutoring services to help students succeed in and out of the classroom.
Taylor takes tutoring sessions by request only, please email her at thebridgetutors.info@gmail.com

Hello! My name is Seth. I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Statistics from Utah State University. I’m currently going to graduate school at the University of Michigan.
I have worked for many years as a math tutor, during which I have had the opportunity to help people ranging in age from kindergarten to university. Because of all the time I have spent as a tutor, topics from high school and university math classes are fresh in my mind. I feel comfortable with all levels of math from algebra and trigonometry to calculus and linear algebra. I also have experience in statistics and can help with that.
Math is a passion of mine and one of my favorite things is helping people overcome barriers they face in mathematics and learn to see its beauty. I believe that math teaches valuable lessons about problem-solving and logic that are hard to learn any other way.

Hello! My name is Casia Holzer. I have recently graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.
For three years of my undergraduate degree, I studied Biological Engineering and near the end, I had the joy of working in the Engineering Tutor Center for two semesters. I also have one year of experience tutoring AP Chemistry for high school students.
While tutoring various subjects, I found my passion lies in Chemistry and Biology. I discovered the satisfaction that comes from helping students become independent learners. I believe that every student has the capacity to learn and problem solve.
I also firmly believe that tutoring is more than just working through problems– it is helping the student become self-sufficient in his or her own problem solving skills. I am excited to share my love of the sciences with you!
All tutors are Independent Contractors and “bear all responsibility for the actions related to themselves”
